I have been working successfully as a Complementary Therapist, specialising in bodywork, for the past 15 years. Bodywork included remedial and therapeutic massage; clinical aromatherapy; reflexology; and sports therapy. I have treated hundreds of people over this time, initially in Taunton for the first five years; and for the remainder in my Clinic at Langley Cross.

During my career, I have become fascinated with the mind/body connection. The mind and body are frequently seen as separate entities and treated as such. But we humans are more than just a physical body - we also have a mind that influences the body in everything we do. After working voluntarily at St. Margaret`s Somerset Hospice and undertaking a bereavement course, I decided I wanted to look into this whole area further and undertook a four year course in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

As a result, I now practice Counselling and Psychotherapy; treating people with problems such as stress, low self-esteem, depression and anxiety; emotional and psychological imbalances; loss and bereavement and relation/marital problems. I also work with various forms of self abuse, such as alcohol, drugs, eating disorders and self-harming.
